Security Penetration Tester
Duration: 12 month Day Rate Contract
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid- 2 days on-site)
Client: Government Department
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth penetration tests across various environments (applications, networks, and systems).
- Provide real-time threat reporting, ensuring that vulnerabilities are identified and communicated clearly.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and document remediation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.
- Deliver clear, comprehensive reports outlining findings, risk levels, and remediation recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Relevant certifications such as Crest, OSCP, CEH, or GPEN preferred.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
