Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Technician with experience in Microsoft 365 to join our team. This role will primarily involve providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining hardware, software, and network systems while contributing to the overall IT support operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
You will provide first-line support to end-users for issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and other IT systems.
You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
You will assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 accounts and services.
You will support users with password resets, email configuration, and other basic IT support tasks.
You will assist with the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, ensuring systems are ready for use.
You will ensure proper documentation of support cases, solutions, and system configurations.
You will collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve more complex technical issues and learn from hands-on experience.
You will monitor and maintain IT systems and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
You will assist with routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system backups, and hardware checks.
You will provide excellent customer service, ensuring users are satisfied with IT support and solutions provided.
Qualifications and Skills:
A basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Share Point, and One Drive.
Basic troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
Strong problem-solving and analytically skills with a desire to learn and grow.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to support users effectively.
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take on challenges and learn new skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support.
A degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus but not required.
