Systems Administrator
12 months contract (PAYE)
London (2 days on site in a week)
The Role
Looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Marketing Technology team. As a Systems Administrator with expertise in AWS, you will play a critical role in managing, monitoring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will be contributing to the overall stability, performance, and security of our environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years experience managing and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, CloudFront and other relevant services
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks
- Proficient in using the terminal for system administration tasks, system monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, system configurations, and disaster recovery plans
- Available for On-Call rotation for system outages, incidents, and other technical issues
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to assess support requests, project work, and implement best practices
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
Other qualifications:
- Experience with infrastructure, tools and supporting ecosystem. Such as Tomcat, Jetty, Apache, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Elasticsearch etc.
- Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and it's architecture
- Experience with development tools and task-runners (Webpack, Parcel etc.)
- Experience with Git or alternative version control systems and standard methodologies
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues with Docker containers
- Agile development practices
- Working Jira, or other task/bug tracking systems
