Tasks
- Provide English language support to colleagues across EMEA Region with awareness of and consideration to differing cultures and/or languages.
- Provide cover to IT support contact number, answering calls, creating tickets, and escalating as required.
- Provide support to walk-up and email requests, dealing with tickets, and escalating as required.
- Administer various IT environment (i.e. PC build and configuration, Application software, SCCM, Printing)
- Liaise, coordinate and monitor the escalation to 3rd level support groups.
- Provide primary support to video conferencing environment.
- Perform daily checks of office printer environment, logging tickets and escalating to 3rd level resolver groups when exceptions are identified.
- Perform daily checks of conference and meetings rooms (including VTC rooms), logging tickets and escalating to 3rd level resolver groups when exceptions
Additional Tasks
- Support of Systems infrastructure team when requested - Core systems infrastructure comprises Lenovo/HP/Dell workstations and HP/Cisco Blade Server technology running Windows OS, EMC SANs, Avaya and IPC telephony systems and Cisco Networks.
- Workstation hardware and software build
- Maintain automated build for workstations and servers
- Administration, configuration and support of workstation and server infrastructure.
- To have a very good knowledge of infrastructure and to be able to support and enhance that infrastructure through the use of industry
- standard management tools.
- To be able to build new workstations to requirements specified by other team members.
- Administration, configuration and support of desktop operations.
- Maintain high availability production environment.
- Administration and support of the workstation and printer
- environment at all sites including business continuity site.
- Ensure that the workstation and printer environment are fully operational and ready for use 24/7
- Workstation patching, test and deploy patches to ensure stability of environment
