Do you want to use your skills and play a key role in 'changing lives for the better' by facilitating the matching of suitable apprentices with employers?
As the Tech Apprenticeship Employer Onboarding Officer, you will:
- Research potential employers who can offer suitable apprenticeship placements for our learners. Identify key stakeholders, and build relationships
- Grow new business through effective communication methods including calling, incoming leads, customer meetings and emails
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximise the conversion of leads into student placements for Tech Apprentices.
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Generate sales reports and participate in weekly sales meetings with the team leader to discuss progress
- Effectively manage and prioritise a pipeline of employer placement opportunities, tracking their progress and ensuring timely follow-ups
- Effectively nurture and develop employer contacts so they develop into long term business relationships.
- Deliver high-level messaging to prospective and existing employers about the Technical Apprenticeships and the value of a student placement to their business
- Serve as a FIT advocate and build interest and awareness of our proposition for employers.
- Negotiate the terms and conditions of the apprenticeship placements and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations
- Maintain accuracy of CRM data for pipeline management and customer intelligence
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be self-motivated and driven to make real social impact in the lives of others.
- A relevant qualification or experience in sales along with interest in social mobility.
- Strong skills in prospecting, discovery and presentation to potential clients.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in New Business Sales/Field Sales with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive, competitive, and self-motivated mindset with a drive to consistently deliver results
