Job Title: L2 IT Support Engineer (1-Month Contract)

A leading IT Services Provider is seeking a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join on a 1-month contract. This role offers you the chance to deliver top-quality service to end-users and make an immediate impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide exceptional IT support to end-users both remotely and onsite via help desk systems and in person.
- You will assist with common applications, operating systems, and basic network issues.
- You will perform Active Directory user and group administration.
- You will offer guidance and support for common software applications, including Microsoft Office and email clients.
- You will efficiently stage and prepare hardware for new starters, ensuring a seamless onboarding process with a focus on excellent customer service.
- You will install and configure computer hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
- You will troubleshoot and escalate hardware issues to third parties when necessary.
- You will perform system administration tasks, such as amending privileges, managing security permissions, and setting up shared folders.
- You will respond to 'how to' and information requests related to data security and ICT policies.
- You will collaborate with local and national ICT teams to identify and resolve recurring technical issues.
Experience Required:
- You have 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Any experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment would be a plus.
Technical Skills:
- You are proficient with Windows operating systems.
- You are familiar with common software applications, including Microsoft Office and email clients.
- You have a basic understanding of networking principles.
- You have knowledge of Active Directory.
- You have experience with IT ticketing systems.
Soft Skills:
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
