I am working closely with the key client, who are growing their data capabilities in Dublin and are currently looking for a Data Governance Specialist with strong experience with designing & implementing Data Retention Strategy & policies.

In this role, you'll shape their data retention strategy and ensure its technical implementation by balancing business needs with regulatory compliance.

Key Duties

• Develop data lifecycle management policies
• Analyze retention requirements across business units
• Design strategies for data retention, archiving, and purging
• Create data recovery and backup plans
• Transform strategies into technical implementations
• Monitor and ensure adherence to data policies
• Stay current with legal and regulatory changes

• Extensive experience in data retention roles
• Strong background in Software Development and Agile
• Knowledge of industry-specific data regulations
• Skill in eliciting business requirements
• Hands-on experience with complex Data Retention projects
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
