Job Title: Data Engineer (Contract Position)

Job Description: I am seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join an FS business on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security tools and processes, and previous experience in data design and engineering roles. This position requires the ability to use technology and automation to acquire data sources with the right context for analysis and support MI reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilise technology and automation to acquire and manage data sources.
Design intuitive and reusable data structures across various tools.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with analysts and other stakeholders to support MI reporting.
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

Required experience:

Proven experience in data design and engineering roles.
Strong understanding of security tools and processes.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience in designing data structures and managing data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in the financial services industry.
