Job Title: Project Manager Cyber Security
Location: Dublin North 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH
Contract: 12 months rolling day rate of 400-500 euros per day
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager with a keen interest in Project Management and Cyber Security. In this role, you will support our Technical Lead and Project Manager in delivering key projects, ensuring effective communication, documentation, and coordination.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Engagement: Engage with team members via email, Teams calls, or in person.
- Project Updates: Balance the delivery of project updates with an understanding of the busy work environment.
- Documentation: Accurately document updates and read back to stakeholders to ensure understanding.
- Service Desk Toolset: Learn and utilize IT Service Desk tools and procedures, including Change Management processes in ServiceNow.
- Stakeholder Identification: Identify key stakeholders and ensure they are informed and engaged.
- Learning: Expand your knowledge in Cyber Security, Service Delivery, and project delivery methodologies.
Key tasks/activities involved in delivery of the role:
- Task Coordination: Update and maintain a list of tasks, activities, and actions from the Technical Lead and Project Manager.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with action owners to estimate delivery/target dates and capture regular progress updates.
- Escalation: Escalate issues to the Technical Lead and Project Manager when updates are not provided or when delays arise.
- Assistance: Provide assistance to the Technical Lead and Project Manager, including performing tests, documenting results, drafting procedures, and reviewing ISMS documents.
- Meeting Organization: Organize project meetings, take notes, document minutes and actions, and circulate them after meetings.
Your background:
- Experience in Project Management and Cyber Security: A strong interest in these areas is essential.
- Structured Thinking: Methodical thinking with good record-keeping and communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work with a degree of uncertainty regarding deadlines and outcomes.
- IT Service Desk Familiarity: Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn IT Service Desk tools and procedures.
