A leading IT services organisation in Dublin is looking for a Service Delivery/Project Manager for a senior role within their Security Operations Centre. This position is a 6 month rolling day rate contract, with a competitive daily rate on offer DOE. You will have the the chance to work with a dedicated cybersecurity team.
What you will be doing in the role:
- You will manage the onboarding process for new SOC clients, ensuring a smooth transition post-project implementation.
- You will develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to facilitate seamless integration.
- You will proactively address client concerns and queries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- You will enhance and implement a structured onboarding process to efficiently integrate clients with SOC services.
- You will identify and mitigate potential risks or obstacles that could impact the onboarding process.
- You will collaborate with internal teams (SOC Analysts, Engineers, and security consultants) to align onboarding processes with security best practices.
- You will work closely with the Project Management Team to ensure customer projects are delivered accurately and on time.
- You will ensure key SOC engagements are completed before customer "go live" dates.
- You will define, document, and transition customer-specific SOC requirements, including log sources, security use cases, and escalation procedures, to the Operations team.
- You will maintain a detailed onboarding plan for all new SOC projects and lead weekly meetings to ensure progress.
- You will ensure a thorough handover to the SOC Operations team, with all requirements, documentation, and processes in place.
- You will act as the single point of contact for customers to ensure the best possible onboarding experience.
- You will ensure all agreements are confirmed and understood within the client SLAs and manage service delivery in line with these deliverables and associated KPIs and KRIs.
- You will implement proactive measures to improve the quality of service delivered.
- You will attend quarterly review meetings with clients, providing report dashboards for service level reviews.
- You will work closely with partner vendors to ensure compliance with training and service delivery regulatory requirements.
What you will need:
- You will have 7-10 years of experience in a large IT organization.
- You will have a strong technical background.
- You will have proven commercial experience and awareness.
- You will have project management skills with the ability to plan, initiate, monitor, and implement projects within a team.
- You will have service delivery management skills, particularly in service level management, incident management, change management, and performance management.
- You will have proven experience in a client-facing role.
- You will have 7-10 years of experience managing a technical team.
- You will have an ITIL qualification.
- A third-level IT/Management qualification is advantageous.
