Okta Engineer - London/Hybrid - Up to £750 pd
My client, a leading broadcasting company is seeking a skilled and experienced Okta Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions using Okta. This role will be integral to ensuring secure access management and seamless user experiences across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and manage Okta identity and access management solutions.
Develop and implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management integrations.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure robust identity management.
Perform system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of Okta environments.
Develop automation scripts and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Monitor and analyze system logs for security incidents and provide timely resolutions.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Okta implementation, configuration, and administration.
Strong understanding of IAM principles, security best practices, and identity federation protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Proficiency in integrating Okta with various cloud and on-premise applications.
Experience with API integrations, automation using scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and identity lifecycle management.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 is preferred.
Okta Certified Professional or higher certification is a plus.
