Job Title: Senior Enterprise Storage Architect / Administrator
Location: Dublin City Centre (Public Sector Client)
Contract Type: Day Rate Contract (24-month Rolling)
Start Date: ASAP (Subject to certification & compliance clearance)

Overview:

Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Storage Architect / Administrator to take ownership of a mission-critical HPe SAN environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational stability while supporting ongoing transformation projects across data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support HPe SAN infrastructure, including upgrades, patching, and health checks

• Manage SAN Fiber Channel networks and inter-site fibre connections

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure requirements and project rollouts

• Perform server administration (Windows Server 2012-2022, Linux/Unix)

• Lead performance tuning, root cause analysis, and incident resolution

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reporting

• Operate within an ITIL-aligned framework

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on expertise in HPe Storage & SAN Management

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration and Linux (RedHat/Ubuntu)

• Proficiency in PowerShell, CLI, automation, and SAN zoning

• Solid knowledge of fiber networking and enterprise infrastructure best practices

• Proven capacity planning and performance optimization background

• Comfortable working independently in secure, high-availability environments

Certifications (Mandatory):

• HPe Approved Certification in Storage

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or equivalent
