You'll thrive in this role if you're a proactive problem-solver with deep Linux expertise, hands-on experience defining and managing SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs, and a passion for performance optimization at scale.
Tech stack includes PHP, MySQL, GoLang, Vue.js, and cloud-native tools. Experience with AWS is a nice-to-have, but not a must.
What You'll Do
- Act as a senior member of the SRE team, contributing to backlog planning, technical decision-making, and code reviews
- Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to maintain system health, reliability, and uptime across all environments
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical challenges alongside engineers across product and platform teams
- Participate in an on-call rotation for critical (P1) incidents
- Continuously optimize performance, stability, and cost across infrastructure and operational processes
- Support secure, scalable deployment pipelines and infrastructure releases
- Represent the SRE team in stakeholder meetings, championing best practices and driving process improvements
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in a reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused engineering role
- Proven experience supporting Linux-based, cloud-hosted SaaS platforms at scale
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and how to scale them efficiently (event-driven architecture, async processing, caching, etc.)
- Hands-on experience managing performance from API to application to database
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Solid understanding of observability and monitoring (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, etc.)
- Familiarity with or interest in the following technologies:
- Languages/Tools: PHP, GoLang, Python, MySQL, Clickhouse
- Messaging/Streaming: Kafka, Pulsar
- Cloud & DevOps: AWS (desirable), Terraform, CI/CD
- Networking & Security concepts
- Bonus points for experience or interest in:
- Big data, analytics, AI/ML
- MarTech tools and the marketing technology ecosystem
